FIBA, in close cooperation with the IOC (International Olympic Committee), BOCOG (Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad) and BOB (Beijing Olympic Broadcasting), have announced the preliminary round game schedule with times for the Beijing 2008 Olympic basketball tournaments for men and women that will be played August 9-24 in the new 18,000-seat Wukesong Indoor Stadium.

Pearson Project in Angola Launches Textbooks in Seven National Languages
Pearson has begun introducing textbooks in seven national languages to a country where many kids have never seen books in their native tongue. The textbooks are now being trialled in 120 classrooms, and are expected to be rolled out to more than 1 million children beginning in 2009. Angolan education officials say the project should help students progress faster, because they will learn to read and write in the language they speak with their families.
